When looking for china settings we knew we wanted something classic but not plain! This was the perfect set! The amount of compliments I got on this pattern was crazy! I also love the classic tea cup look, so many newer places are doing a mug type of look! It's beyond perfect!

We put this pattern on our registry and received all of our place settings but only two bowls. 5 months later, we wanted to go ahead and purchase the rest of the bowls to complete our set. I ordered the exact same bowls as the other two from Macy's thinking they'd match. I just got them delivered today and the bowls are hair smaller and the pattern is slightly smaller/differently colored. I saw on our previous 2 on the bottom is "4807L" and the others are just "4807." I see no other choices for rim soup bowls on Macy's.com in the same Montvale pattern. How about some quality control? What are we supposed to do now - I thought the point is you can continually add to your pattern and have it all match unless it was being discontinued. I'll be calling Macy's today. Buyer beware.

I think the dishes are amazing! They are elegant and classic.

This china was an easy decision for my fiance and I. Delicate and stylish without being too feminine, it goes with pretty much any type of table decoration year-round! This particular pattern also has a lot of other pieces available--the gravy boat, the platters, salt & pepper shakers, which isn't the case with all brands and patterns. Our special "first" holidays and dinners together as man and wife are even more special with this gorgeous china!
