Heavy

I purchased the bowls, dinner plates, salad plates, serving bowls, and mugs. These stonewares are good looking but are heavy. I found the bowls get very hot to the touch when filled with hot soup. I mean hotter than my porcelain bowls. You need to be careful handling them. Also they seem to chip easily.

Material made from is odd

Color and shape are very nice. Eating out of them is grating sound. Like fingernails on chalkboard.

Clay dinner bowls

i didn't like the texture on the bottom of the bowls, I wanted something made in USA and natural material. but the bottom of the bowls could damage my table and truly just felt weird to me. It was truly clay! =)

Nice pretty bowls

These bowls look cute and are a nice size but are a bit heavy. The color is nice but the glaze at the bottom may scratch eventually. Although it says the bowls are microwavable, I would not microwave for more than a minute. For the price, they are good. Bought the mugs to match.
