No tension

There was no tension in the tension arm. Also not very sturdy- fell over easily.

No tension arm

Returned it , it’s described as a tension arm , the arm has no tension whatsoever

Nearly useless

The arm is not close enough to the center to actually hold the paper towel roll. Even with a very large roll, it is not strong enough to do much of anything. If you want something to help with tearing off a sheet or holding the roll in place, keep shopping. After having a very nice holder for over 10 years which was lost in a move, I'm very disappointed with this as a replacement.
