Not for gas stoves

This tea kettle looked nice, but cannot be used with a gas stove. Since it's small, the flames heat the metal side quickly. On my first use, the ivory enamel discolored from the heat. It might work on an electric stove, which would concentrate the heat on the bottom only.

Returned it

I liked the color and the style of this kettle but it’s not a quality product. While heating it was very very loud as it’s a very thin metal. After a couple of uses the finish discolored and had areas of splotchy light pink. It really looked old and terrible after a couple of days so it was returned. Macy’s customer service was great.
