Mold!

Too expensive for what it is, no one including myself needs all the bells and whistles this toothbrush supposedly has. Bigger problem is that the head develops mold. No matter what I try, mold develops. This is a problem.

loud and leaky while you brush

I bought a pack of two of these toothbrushes for myself and my dad. We are both disapppointed. The toothbrush is quite loud and the head has a little hole that ends up leaking down the handle of the toothbrush while you brush your teeth. I would not reccommend, it's poor quality is not worth the money.

Black Body White Base/Toothbrush Heads?

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was so excited to buy this product. So disappointed with what I saw when I opened the box. Can’t understand why they offer a black body with a white base and white toothbrush heads.

Correction: Genius 8000 is still my favorite!

CORRECTION1. I recently wrote a review in which I stated that I really liked this model but that it died in about 6 months. I had another Oral B connected which continued to work for a time then it died. I then discovered I had an electrical problem. After I fixed that, both are working again. AND I have my Genius 8000 back again which is my favorite of the 4 I have. I highly recommend it. Please ignore my previous review.

Great features but . . .

I really liked this model., but it died in about 6 months. Unfortunately, I had purchased this more than 2 year ago. This was do to the fact that I already had 4 Oral B models which I was using.

Loud but good

I purchased this to replace an almost 20yr old oral B. This works well but I definitely agree with the other reviews-it is very LOUD. Much louder than my old one. The case appears to be well made and is very pretty. I downloaded the app, but haven’t used it yet. The brush has a lot more power than my old one. So far it works great -just hope it lasts as long as my old one did.

Terrible instructions

This is my 4th Oral B electric toothbrush and I have always gotten an easy-to-follow manual booklet. With the Genius 8000 you get a long thin very lightly printed sheet of paper that is folded to a 3" by 4 1/4" instruction manual for the 6000-9000 models. The print is too small and too light and you don't know what model the information is for. I put it all back in the box. I will update review if I ever get to use the toothbrush.
