Great backpack for school use.

Great backpack for school use. We love the Osprey quality and the All Mighty Guarantee, but the design of this particular pack is perfect for a college student. I have a smaller Arcane pack as my everyday carry pack for work, but my daughter needs more space to take her laptop and books in college and this was the perfect size for that.

Functional, sturdy, and exactly what

Functional, sturdy, and exactly what I need to pack around my things. I love the size and structure of the water bottle pockets. They fit things of various sizes securely and easy to access. I was a little disappointed with the lack of chest strap, but the accessory loops are at the right spot for my torso size to throw a strap on there when I want one (which isn't always by the way). The perfect bag for me. So glad I bought it.

I thought it was bot

I thought it was bot enough space for my sons books, laptop, PE clothes but when i opened Axis 24, i love the compartments and where they placed it in the back which is at tje back. I love everything Osprey! Thank you.

A little too long for me

I really like the Axis 24L, and it almost fits my needs perfectly! Plenty of storage, sleek, nice color, sturdy design. I had planned to use this for my daily commute. But I think I need to return it, sadly--it feels a little too long for my torso. I'm 5'2" and even when I adjust the straps to carry it very high on my back, the bottom of the bag still hits my tailbone. Just wanted to share that perspective for any other smaller-framed women who may be looking at this bag!

I have a Sportlite 15

I have a Sportlite 15 for short day excursions, and it's perfectly sized for that. I wanted a bigger pack for travel, but since I got the Axis 24 a couple of weeks ago, I've used it daily for work. The storage is well conceived for organization and effective use of the capacity. I can carry daily essentials, including my laptop, cords, files, notebooks, water bottle, umbrella and sunscreen, and still have room for extras, such as a change of clothes. I like that I can use the side straps to secure my water bottle if my pack won't be travelling upright and that I can secure the zippers if I feel the need to make them harder to unzip. I wish it had a (removable) chest strap, but otherwise, it's ideal for my daily use, and it will be great for travel.
