Cushions are very thin

The cushions on the chair and sofa seats are very thin as are the seat back cushions. We are very disappointed in the quality of the cushions and will be replacing all of them with thicker, more comfortable cushions. The furniture itself is very nice looking and good quality. We would have returned the entire set, however my husband assembled all pieces (2-3 hours) before I got home and opened the cushions and found that they were thin and uncomfortable to sit on (you can feel the metal of the seat frame).
