Defective

Finally received my chair and was very excited until I opened the box which was wet and was taped up. Removed parts to put together to find that the back of the chair was defective. Part of the wicker was coming a loose from the chair. It was too much trouble to return, so continued to put together. It’s ok became the defective part to to the back of the chair. Not sure how I can correct, maybe with brown duct tape.
