Over boils and spills everywhere

This is by far the worst kettle I’ve ever owned. Regardless of how much water I use in it, it creates a giant mess and burned me twice. Do not purchase.

The light doesn't work anymore

The light is not working and it was one of the things I like about this kettle. Now I will have to double check if it's in use or working properly 🤷‍♀️. Now I'll have to think to return this item

Hot to the touch, shuts off but does not keep water warm for extended period. Lightweight and cheap looking.

Almost perfect

Although I loved the kettle I've been using for years, I decided to shop around a bit when it came time for a replacement. My primary reason for doing so was that my old kettle is very difficult to clean since, when open, the top is too small to put your hand inside and I could never wipe it out to my satisfaction. Enter the Ovente. I immediately liked its modern look, dark maroon color and positive reviews but the biggest selling point was that its opening is wide enough to easily accommodate a hand so cleaning it is a breeze. The only improvement I would make would be to have different temps from which to choose when heating water for more delicate teas. Otherwise, this kettle gets a BIG thumbs up.
