Choose any temperature between 170 and 212°F, and the water is heated and held at your preferred temperature for up to 30 minutes. The Kettle is cordless when removed from the base, with a silicone base so you can bring it to the table without worrying about damaging surfaces. The crystal-clear, BPA-free borosilicate glass ensures a pure, clean taste.

Quick, Easy, and Almost Perfect

I’ve been really impressed with the OXO Brew Electric Kettle overall. It heats water quickly and the temperature settings are very convenient for making different types of tea and coffee. The design feels sturdy, the handle is comfortable, and the kettle is easy to lift off the base for pouring. I especially like the “keep warm” feature, which saves me from reheating when I get distracted. That said, it’s not perfect. The temperature accuracy is good but not flawless — sometimes it overshoots a few degrees, which can matter with delicate teas. The water level markings on the glass body are also a little hard to see unless the light hits them just right. For the price, I also wish it retained heat a bit longer once off the base. Overall, though, it’s a reliable and attractive kettle that I use daily, and the convenience makes it worth the investment. A solid 4 stars from me.
