Beautiful Machine

I think it's wonderful but my husband complains that he can't see how much coffee is left in the carafe because it is not clear glass.

The oxo 12 cup

If s a high quality product and works well. Its a big consumer if coffee vs my 8 cup maker. Meaning 1. 5 but it requires 2x more coffee to make 12 cups. Likely because the basket is so big. The grey water spout isnt snug and sometimes can wiggle off.

5 stars if the carafe didn't drip

I've now owned this machine for almost a year and it is a prized posession. Easy to use. Fresh taste even if the coffee was brewed a couple hours before consuming. Love the single serve option with just a smaller filter instead of a plastic kcup. The carafe is large enough for 2 heavy coffee drinkers. My ONLY complaint is the drips when you pour. I have tried everything. Tightening the lid, pouring more slowly, pour more quickly. . . no matter what, about 2 tablespoons of coffee drips down the front. It's a nuisance and hopefully something OXO addresses. I would happily get a replacement lid and change my review to 5 stars.

Cleaning error

Was gifted this coffee maker as I don’t usually splurge on nice things. No matter what I do I get an HHH / CLN error. Extremely disappointing :(

12-cup coffee maker

I previously had the OXO 9-cup coffee maker, which was execellent except the hose from the boiler to the coffee area kept popping off, so we upgraded to the 12 cup. The 12-cup is waaaaay slower at brewing and we've already had a situation where it clogged and overflowed all over the counter. Also, the clock isn't illuminated, so you can't see it from across the room.
