All Plastic, not expected OXO quality

Was looking forward to an OXO French press because I enjoy having and using a good number of their other products but it feels like a cheaply made import. Disappointed minus the screen, that actually works well.

Disappointment….

Did not realize that the insert was made of plastic, not glass. Plunger doesn’t keep grounds strained out of coffee. This was a replacement for a defective muffin pan. Extremely disappointed.Not sure what has happened to the quality control standards at Oxo.
