Too cumbersome and the blades are not sharp enough to perform effortless chopping.

Very easy to use and cleaning is a breeze. It is very sturdy and really love using this mandolin.

Storage is good for blades, however removing the julienne and potato blades and inserting on top is very difficult to snap the part in/out to change, it needs to be easier to remove. The first item I cut was a carrot and it stained the product and after washing would not come out so now the mandolin is orange. Difficult to cut hard items like carrots and potatoes. If you have any arthritis in your hands this is not the product for you.

Multiple blades

The directions are not very clear. I watched a YouTube video to put together and take apart. I also cut my finger just touching the blade by accident. This is not a tool for someone in a hurry or does things fast.

Great. Easy to use. Makes a ton of perfectly thin- or thick-sliced vegetables in a short amount of time vs. manually chopping. I love this for making Ina Garten's Potato-Fennel Gratin. Comes with a knob that you put at the end of a vegetable (perhaps the knob is for safety measures). I don't use it because I know when to stop chopping. The only con is that in order to ensure that the entire mandoline is clean after each use, you should disassemble it entirely, air dry it or wipe each part down, and then reassemble it. There is one part that doesn't seem to easily snap back in, but it eventually does after a few tries. Other than that this is a pretty great kitchen tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was used twice, the second time a piece of came loose by the blade and the unit was unusable. Of course I had this about month and no longer had the box. I’m done buying OXO. For the cost this is a flimsy product.

This item was very difficult to use and extremely unsafe if you have children. I needed to return it and Macys was excellent to deal with.
