It's still a wonderful bag, perfect for writers or artists. Lots of room. Big enough to hold a laptop, notebooks, and most of your day-to-day belongings. The straps are nice and long too, so it hangs comfortably against your waist. It's more glossy than I was expecting, but overall a good purchase

Elegant Kent Countryside Amersham
The Amersham Messenger Bag in the elegant Kent Countryside Design is my third Amersham purchase. I love the Amersham silhouette and the Kent Countryside design has become my personal favorite this season! The English Countryside scene depicting the English cottages in the Midnight Blue background and riders atop their horses wearing the classic red hunt jackets is exquisite. The scene is beautifully portrayed on all sides of this silhouette. The twin shoulder straps are in the British Tan leather and very comfy on your shoulder. The Patricia Nash jewelry quality hardware is beautiful, especially the stud accents on the front of the bag as pictured. The flap top provides easy entry and is secured with a mag snap. The exterior backside of the Amersham offers a pocket the full length of the bag which holds a letter size folder for important documents or perhaps sheet music. Also, it can hold your cell phone, keys, gloves, sanitizer packets etc... a mag snap provides the necessary security. The interior of the Amersham flap top is lined with a luxurious cognac colored suede leather and includes a built-in leather pen holder, providing easy access to retrieve your writing instrument without having to search for it. Brilliant detail and perfect for jotting in your PN Agenda or Journal! The bag interior is lined with the signature PN cognac colored faux suede soft lining to include generous pockets to keep you organized. There is an interior zippered center pocket the full length of the bag providing a secure place for my matching Kent Countryside Marotta, which I use as my wallet as it is not bulky and yet holds the necessary credit cards, business cards, and includes an ID window, its perfect! Additionally, there is an interior zip pocket across the back of the bag for securing your items as needed. The Amersham is a sleek silhouette and light weight, "easy to carry" bag. A Beautiful Bag!
I really love this bag! It’s one of my favorite Patricia Nash bags. There are so many good things about this bag. The leather is beautiful— soft, pliable, has a beautiful sheen and I love the print of English hunting party. The size is just right to hold all my necessities and the full center zip pocket adds additional organization to this bag. It even has a full sized magnetic closed pocket on the outside back of back. I love this bag so much that when the olive /British tan color block one went on sale I bought it too!
