Verbania is perfection!
I love the Verbania...this is the 7th in my collection of this style! I absolutely love everything about it! The size, the pleated leather, the way it opens and closes with a wide opening and the retro clasp, the roomy interior with the lush lining and pockets, the long crossbody strap. The print on this bag looks like holiday time without being overboard or cutesy. It's a subtle palette of earthy browns, greens, burgundy and cream that blend very nicely together. It looks perfect either dressed up or as a casual bag. I've told a few friends about this style and each have equally fallen in love with it... we're the Verbania club! Seriously, this bag is so fabulous I just can't say enough great things about it. I have a very large collection of Patricia Nash bags and this style ranks in my top 5!

Beautiful
Love this handbag and get alot of compliments
Not quite right
Like all Patricia Nash bags, this bag is beautiful. It's a nice smaller size but opens up widely to access contents. However, the clasp is very small and almost impossible to open with one hand (too short to have any leverage). But you need the other hand to pull it open by the leather tab. Pulling it open is made even harder by the fact that the strap handle attaches on opposite sides of the bag opening, so the strap tends to pull the purse shut while you're trying to open it. Also, because of where the strap hooks to the bag, you have to hook it on with the hook lever away from the purse, or the lever gets caught in purse closure or scratches the metal surround. I wanted to love it, but using it was going to be a hassle, so I returned it. Sad.
Broken clasp, and bent frame
Purchased two verbatim bags. One arrived with the clasp broken off, the other one had a bent frame. Returning both.

Absolutely gorgeous!
Absolutely gorgeous! The design, the texture, and the size of this bag are perfect! I'm very picky about the purses/bags I purchase. If I like a bag and it works for me, I'll buy it... don't like to spend too much on a bag, though. This bag is priced perfectly for all it has to offer. I also purchased the smaller burgundy one. Patricia Nash bags are made of quality material and are designed so beautifully. You can tell they put a lot of thought in making these bags.
