Charged and put to use when it arrived. Beard trimming attachments easy to set and use. Nose and ear attachment easy to install and use. Attachments and trimmer easy to clean.

Not so waterproof as it says.
The charging port design is more of a pain than a breeze. Now it’s just a cable without an adapter, which is easy to lose — and once you lose it, you’re done. Previous Philips trimmer adapter cables don’t work either. If a MacBook or phone can charge via USB-C, then why on earth doesn’t Philips use the same port? They also claim the trimmer is waterproof, but water gets inside the chambers just from washing the head. That leads to rust on the motor and other components, moisture seeping in, and the buttons eventually malfunctioning (this is exactly what happened with my previous Philips 9000 trimmer, so I had to buy a new one).

Awful, returned to a 10 year old babyliss trimmer
Poorly designed in every aspect, first issue is the position of the power button precisily where you place your thumb when shaving, the attachments are all loose enough to move and when using the dialed beard trimmer the cut length doesn't reflect the setting, it simply doesn't change, the blade does not offer a sharp finish unless being used with none of the numerous attachments. Over all terrible product trying to do way too many things and not achieving any of them properly. Reverted back to my 10 year old babyliss trimmer that still provides a more accurate and cleaner cut, sorry Phillips but this is a fail.

Philips: All-in-One Trimmer MG5920/15 Series 5000
I needed a new compact trimmer come shaver and this Philips brand I do like. There are many choices out there but the guarantee and build quality is really good. Now that I have owned it for a few months it is really good and I will tell you why. Holds the charge for ages, really close clipper shave which I like, compact and the on off button is affirmingly positive. I made a little pouch to keep it safe and clean. I also like to oil the busy blades from time to time and you can hear the difference when you do that. It is water proof but I dont take it in the shower, I want it to last a long time. So really impressed over all.
