Delighted with purchase

The color is beautiful! The toothbrush is slimmer than my previous one and fits nicely in my hand. I really like the 30 second timer going up to 2 minutes. The best feature is the "brushing too hard" signal. That is one of my issues, I brush too hard and have shredded my gums exposing the roots. This has helped me tremendously!

Okay, I guess

I don't really like the electric toothbrush that much. I would rather just use the manual toothbrush, but my dentist said I should switch. Maybe she has a contract with Philips.

Good when it runs, but startup is a problem.

I had a Philips sonic care for years and loved it. I don’t know what model I had, but this one (4100) is different. It feels less durable, but the thing that bothers me the most is its start up. It often doesn’t start up but just makes a small hum. I must press the on/off button several times before the motor seems to kick in. When it does finally start it is good. I don’t know if this is unique to my toothbrush or to the model. I am thinking of reaching out to Phillips while it is still under warranty to discuss.
