Good when it runs, but startup is a problem.

I had a Philips sonic care for years and loved it. I don’t know what model I had, but this one (4100) is different. It feels less durable, but the thing that bothers me the most is its start up. It often doesn’t start up but just makes a small hum. I must press the on/off button several times before the motor seems to kick in. When it does finally start it is good. I don’t know if this is unique to my toothbrush or to the model. I am thinking of reaching out to Phillips while it is still under warranty to discuss.

Quiet, helpful timer, annoying pressure sensor

I really love the 4100. This is the second one I have had. I love that it is quiet, and I like the timer with the 30 sec markers, but I can't get used to the pressure sensor buzzing - it really bothers me. The charge lasts for a long time - great for travel. At end of life it is almost impossible to take apart to remove the battery. That absolutely is a design flaw and needs changing. I seriously cut up my hand trying to break down the old one to get to the battery for safe disposal. The charger should come with a plug not a USB connector.

I trully like the product.

I was very pleased with the product. Having used the product for several weeks and like the clean felling it leaves in my mouth. If for some reason it doesn't get used, my mouth feels crusty.

I have used a Phillips sonicare since inception and this model has been super disappointing. The vibration is too strong and this model does not allow any change in intensity.

Poor Quality - Breaks in 2 Years. NOT WORTH THE $

These product are great until they decide to last only 2 years and then break. There is apparently a problem with a screw becoming loose, and that causes the vibration to completely break. I've had 2 that both have broken right after the 2 year mark... funny enough that their "warranty" lasts 2 years. I'd recommend going OralB given I have a couple family members that have had their OralB brushes for 10+ years.

Timing and pressure are fine.

Timing and pressure are fine. It is a little hard to get the proper motion on the back of the teeth as the brush moves side to side and usually with toothbrush I do up and down movement. Battery life is good and recharging is good.
