Turn back the clock in your dining room - these farmhouse-inspired dining chairs will bring you and your family back to a simpler, more carefree time. Upholstered with two types of fabric, they offer your home something a little out of the ordinary while at the same time remaining true to their elegant, old-fashioned roots; their frames feature hand-carved channels and accents, classically turned legs, wonderfully contrasting lines and curves, and a distressed finish that gives these pieces a rustic, shabby-chic appeal.

Chair has cancer and chemical warning

Open up the box to find a warning on the bottom of the chair saying that the item has chemicals that cause cancer including arsenic. This is not acceptable for a chair in your house. These warning should be on the purchase page.

We’re sorry to hear about your concerns regarding the Phinnaeus Dining Chairs. We understand how alarming it can be to see a warning label on the product.

The label you saw is a California Proposition 65 (Prop 65) warning, which is required under California law for products that may expose consumers to certain chemicals. It does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe or contains harmful levels of those substances during normal use.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the product labeling and listing information, and we’ll make sure to forward your comments to our team for review and improvement.

Ordinary dining chairs

Looks mundane quality, will not light up any eyes. Now sold for lot less in Macy's and in a national chain discount store. There is a delivery fee, no free shipping.
