Standard pillow cases and protectors add a layer of fabric that prevents some light wear and tear associated with sleeping on a pillow.

Wonderful to sleep on

These protectors work well as they are intended too. I sleep on them without a traditional pillowcase. So easy to wash and the color goes with my color choices in my home. Only thing I don't understand is why they cost so much. You can buy new pillows that come with them for just a few more dollars.

They do the trick!

There are no loose feathers with these pillow cases. They fit the pillows well, but I wonder if they could use just a bit of wiggle room to allow the pillow to move more freely.
