poorly packaged

This is a family Christmas gift for my son. Since it will not be opened to test until then I am just hoping it works. The actual PlayStation box is damaged due to the way they packaged it. It was just put in a box with no packing material like bubble wrap or packing peanuts, something to protect the product.
