Sizing has changed. Choose a size up

The sizing has changed to be smaller than previous like sized items. In other words, 2x is significantly smaller in the same cut of short from 2 years ago. I have worn this brand for 40 years. Very frustrating because I ordered with confidence and now the new garments don’t fit well.
