Excellent lightweight jackets

I love that this jacket is water resistant (although I haven’t tested how water resistant yet) and has the removable hood for added versatility. TTS for a comfortable relaxed fit without being oversized or sloppy. Packs down easily into the attached drawstring “pocket” and is the perfect layering piece for travel. It is pretty lightweight but does provide warmth, perfect for moderate temperatures in the cool to somewhat cold range, but don’t expect it to replace your winter coat for the coldest weather. Ideal for the shoulder seasons and milder winter temps (with layers). To give you an idea on sizing: I am 5’9” tall, 145 lbs, lean athletic build with a 34D chest, slightly broader shoulders than hips, and muscular arms and found the S to be the perfect size. It works great on its own but I can also fit a nice thick ribbed cashmere sweater underneath for extra warmth if needed, without feeling pinched or restricted anywhere. I bought both the black and navy on a great sale and they are worth every penny.
