Classic, quality set w/ unique electric sharpener
When I think of standard kitchen items and one that is a quality wedding gift, a knife set comes to mind. This one is a solid, sturdy set that feels, looks, acts like quality and will not break the bank. Up front: the built-in sharpener is the “wow” factor for me and I know how to manually sharpen knives. Pros: solid, German Steel knives that feel good while cutting. Also, they have the look and feel of professional chef knives, the electric sharpener, dishwasher safe;however, I always hand-clean my knives and cookware. Comfortable to handle. All in all, great selection of knives. Cons: The block is large and heavy. I don’t feel like this was necessary. The sharpener is compact and pops in and out, why waste all fhat counter space. The knives cut well, but I have some higher quality steel knives. I would still use these over many other sets/brands of knives.

I particularly liked this product. The knife sharpener is compact, the knives are excellent quality, and the electric sharpener is efficient in sharpening even with a single swipe. The knife sharpener has a magnet attached to prevent metal chips from escaping. This knife set is quite large, so it may not be a great purchase to those with smaller kitchens. The knife sharpener is pushed in slightly while sharpening if pressure is applied to the extension. 6 of the knives are serrated this allows you to keep a stockpile of knives that are unable to be sharpened. This overall a good set of knives, with a large build, and a decent sharpener as a bonus.

Cutting Edge Knife Set
This is a fantastic knife set that is a huge step up from the one I have been using for the last decade. It was definitely time for a upgrade and this set exceeds any expectations I might have had. First of all, it is twice the size of my old set, with double the amount of knives. It looks more prominent on my kitchen countertop because of it's size. It includes a comprehensive variety of knives that cover all of my needs. I have never had an electric knife sharpener before so this feature is new to me. It is simple to use and cleverly built into the block. The knives arrive as sharp as can be so I probably won't have to sharpen any of them for a while, but to think that I have never once sharpened any of my old knives for a decade is kind of funny now that I think about it. The scissors aren't as comfortable on my hands as I typically like, but hopefully I will get used to them in time. Overall, this is a high-quality, very well made knife set that is innovative and on the "cutting edge" with it's built-in electric sharpener. I am confident that it will last me for many years to come.

Great Knife Set with Electric Sharpener!
PowerEdge 15 Piece knife set includes all the essential knives I need for my daily cooking. The handles of the knives are smooth and very comfortable to hold in your hand while cutting. The knives feel very balanced and are extremely sharp right out of the box. I tried cutting bread, meats, veggies, fruits, and I am very impressed by the performance of each knife. The wood block is very attractive and will fit nicely on my kitchen countertop. I am especially thrilled about the hidden built-in electric sharpener which pops up when you press a red button. Now I can sharpen my kitchen knives easily myself!

The name says it all
This set of knives with electric knife sharpener has gone above and beyond. I have 2 other knife set but they will now be replaced!! Knive quality is top notch and extremely sharp. I wish the block was a different color though. Maybe black. I definitely recommend this product
