Great Addition to my Sewing Room

This machine is a great addition to my sewing room. After much thought , comparing, and saving, I bought this machine. The price was better than the competition, but one feature was missing that would have boosted my rating to 5 stars: No speed control button.

Great sewing machine for quilting

I love my PQ 1500 SL. It is a workhorse that I use for quilting and has all the features I want. Never eats the fabric at the beginning of a row, stitches fast, has a thread cutter, large L bobbin, runs quietly and comes with a walking foot. The needle threader takes a little practice, but once you get the hang of it, it works well.

Great everyday sewing machine

A lovely straight stitch machine. Easy to sew with, backstitch and change feet. It goes easily from lighweight fabrics to canvas simply by changing the needle and thread. Initially, I did have to send it in for repair after completing only one sewing project. The motor ran but would not sew. It froze up. When I got it back from repair it now sews 1 more stitch after I release the presser foot. That's why 4 instead of 5 stars.

Great machine. My only problem is the needle threader. Doesn’t work y. The thread gets shredded no matter what type of thread I use

❤️my PQ1500SL

I love my PQ1500SL. It's a great reliable machine. No complaints other than it seems hard to find bobbins made by brother but I now have a go to shop. The needle threader quit working within the first couple of weeks. I was disappointed but it's not enough to change my mind. I would buy another one in a heartbeat if something happened to this one.
