Will never purchase from this 3rd party seller

Got notice item delivered, however, item was not found in mailbox, door, etc. I call Macy's to report missing item and request refund. Macy's then informs me it was shipped via 3rd party seller and Macy's reached out to seller on Oct 6th and as of today Oct 16, this seller has not responded, this holding up my refund request. Spoke with Macy's chat and 3 live agents and still trying to process refund. Macy's, I'm very disappointed in how you're handling this and dealing with 3rd party sellers who don't reply to issues with missing orders.
