Works better than I expected.

I ordered two of these containers because I bake a lot. I really didn’t expect the brown sugar to stay soft. To my surprise it worked. I was pleasantly surprised and was glad I took a chance on ordering the containers. Periodically I will soak the disk again to ensure that the sugar stays soft. If you don’t do this eventually the sugar will harden because it needs the moisture. I don’t have a set schedule when I do this only when I remember. It lasts quite awhile after refreshing the disk again. Just don’t forget to do it. I also suggest shaking it up once in awhile.

Works great!

For all my life, I haven’t been able to keep brown sugar from turning into a hard brick. I’ve tried so many things and nothing worked. This canister works exactly as described and it’s now soft and never turns hard. I was surprised that it does what it says and would recommend to anyone having the same problem.
