My new Presto percolator makes great coffee, makes it fast, and keeps coffee hot or at least very warm for a good while after being unplugged--saving energy and $ with each use. I also like its elegant look--it really graces my kitchen's counter top and also takes up less space than the plastic (yuck) drip coffeemaker I'd been using and am now donating to my thrift store.

I use them for many years. I also buy these percolators for my family.

Makes good coffee and keeps it hot as long as it is plugged in!

I have bought the Presto 2 to 12- Cup Stainless Steel Percolator before. We make coffee everyday and the last one lasted for about 2 years. Maybe, this one will last longer. A good percolator for the price!

This pot makes great coffee! The only thing about it is the time it lasts. The unit lasted one year. That's it. I expect a coffee unit to last longer than a year especially a unit that makes something you drink that isn't good for you. The oils in coffee are bad for cholesterol in our bodies. I would think they would make a unit that would last at least 5 years if not 10 years. It's the only pot that I've found that brews the coffee at the correct temperature, slightly under 212 degrees. It should never boil coffee, and this one doesn't. I'll give it one more try.

We have bought several of these percolators over the years -generally the plug outlet rusts out - not a big deal - probably our bad when washing. We keep buying as it makes great coffee and is all steel - not aluminum (our understanding). However, this last purchase had an issue - we noticed the coffee seemed weak after using for awhile. Turns out, the basket has smaller holes than previous versions.These holes get clogged if great care is not taken when washing, i.e. using a toothbrush/steel scrubber and paying much attention/taking more time. Fortunately, we had kept the innards from a previous pot - hence, noticed the difference. We are now using the old basket and coffee is perfect. I do hope Presto sees this and fixes the issue.

Way too expensive for what you get. Spout is way too small. And the cord is so short. We have to use an extension cord.
