Exploding glass lid

I have used this skillet less than 5 times in two years. The lid spontaneously shattered after washing with soap and water. Do not recommend this product.

Absolutely Not

Thank you for your follow up. However, I am very disappointed in your company not making a change in the lid after so many incidents. Stop making excuses and alleviate the issue. As far as ‘home use’ and not for ‘commercial production’, you must not be familiar with our TEXAS Food Cottage Law. ONLY home use appliances may be used. Thus my inquiry for multiple cookers. Thank you for your time. Please do better.

The temperature control will cycle on and off - this is normal. For example when left on the warm setting, the control will reach 212 degrees and drop down to 160 and then back up to 212. This process will continue throughout cooking. However, if this is not what you are experiencing, we would like to speak with you. Please call our Customer Service Team at 1-800-877-0441. Don’t buy! The lid explodes for no reason.

Exploded on my after 2 months of use. Glass got all over me and my daughters.

Think twice before buying

I was drying the lid and it slipped out of my hands and actually shattered everywhere…is this safe to cook with? I have -pictures to attach but this message will not let me attach them.
