Brakes very easy!

I purchased my second salad shooters April 19, 2025, thinking maybe the shredder cone had been updated to not brake so easily. This one broke on my second use. Terrible terrible quality! If it was made all of metal it might last longer. Very unsatisfied with these cones.

The grater cones keep falling apart

This is the third Salad shooter I e purchased in the last two years because the plastic around the grater broke. I never thought to just buy the broken part. While I like be the product, there must be a way to make the cones last…

We are sorry to hear the cone cracked. We will certainly report this to our Quality Team. We have replacement cones available. If you are shredding cheese, you may need a bit more pressure than that of a carrot, for example. Semi-soft cheeses should be refrigerated overnight or placed in the freezer for approximately 30 minutes before shredding. Hard cheeses should be at room temperature. All unprocessed cheeses can be shredded successfully with this unit. It is not recommended that you use soft or processed cheese as it may clog the unit. Cheese is only meant to be shredded with this appliance, not sliced. If you have any questions contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-877-0441. We are open Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm Central Time.
