Piling trouble
I got this car seat a couple months ago as an avid maxi cosi lover. I have to say I’m disappointed at the piling that comes from the seat. We keep the seat very very clean and my daughter loves it but the material does not hold up very well.

To all mamas/ dadas this is a need!
my two boys have always been a maxi così baby! We love how maxi così is always dedicated to keeping our babies safe! i highly recommend all of their products! i also love how you can easily pop the car seat cover in the washer! Maxi cosi really does carry the future! This is the one for any mamas/ or dadas looking! From birth to 10 years old!!

Horrible Fabric (would be 5* but disappointing)
I have been using this car seat since November (2024)- so only a couple months, and my daughter loves it because it is very comfortable, cushiony, and spacious, HOWEVER, the fabric is pilling so horribly!! We keep our seat very clean and I take very good care of it, so I can’t understand how this seat is already starting to fall apart- especially so soon and at this price point! I was hoping to use it as my little one grows (she’s only 18 months) but I don’t even know if it’ll last that long. If the fabric was better quality, this would be a five star car seat, especially with the pure cosi fabric! So it is safe to say, I am disappointed! Pictures from our first day of use to today to show the poor fabric.

BUY IT
I’ve had this car seat for 4 years now and I am absolutely obsessed with it. My daughter is now 5 and we will be using it for another few years. I cannot recommend this car seat enough. Way better than the Nuna and Uppababy car seats. So easy to clean (I have the cream one) and so easy to install. She is comfortable in it on long car rides and it’s easy for me to get her in and out of the seat.

Sharp plastic!!!
As grandparents we chose to have a car seat ourselves to make it easier to pick up our grandchildren as needed. Overall a good car seat, the finish on the plastic parts is weak. Where you have to reach to put a seatbelt or other securing parts be ready to scratch your hands on the sharp unfinished plastic.

Toddler Approved!
Our fussy toddler actually sat in this car seat without complaint and even said "cool car seat, momma!" He's 90th percentile for weight and height so we love that this car seat can accommodate up to 85 pounds in the future. I love the magnetic clip. It makes life easier to do things one handed with a super busy bodied toddler and a newborn (baby sister is only 3 months). It was a breeze to install and it makes me rest easy knowing that it's one of the best in class for safety. Adjusting the harness and headrest were a snap and the fabric is pretty luxe, too. I love that everything is removable because I have been through some gnarly blow outs in the past that taught me to always pick a car seat that is easy to clean. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Infant Car Seat!

Goldilocks of car seats
I tested this car seat out for the past month in a 2014 Subaru Forester and 2019 Honda Odyssey with a 36" tall, 27 lb. almost 2 year old and a 24" tall 13lb 2 month old who cannot hold his head up. I'm 5'7" and my husband is 6'2". We took this car seat on a 12+ hour road trip and everywhere in between and I can definitely say we love it! What we love: in the more upright rear facing position required for any baby that can hold their head up, this seat fits really well in the Subaru Forester allowing for a generous amount of leg room for the seat in front and for the kid in the car seat and gets a SUPER tight and secure fit with both LATCH and seat belt installation. We all have long legs in my family and finding a car seat that fits in the car and gives EVERYONE leg room is near impossible, this one fits the bill! Everything is easy to remove, and wash AND dry (car seat cover, cup holders). This car seat survived every kind of mess, the fact that you can put it in the dryer means that you can get back on the road fast without having to put your kid in a damp seat. There aren't a ton of weird crevices in this seat so hosing it down was a breeze! Easy to get kids in and out of with the magnetic chest clip and spring loaded harness. This was so helpful with my squirmy bigger baby as I wasn't digging under him while he was kicking. It's also very easy to switch between kiddos! What we didn't like: for kids who can't hold their head up the installation is a little clunky. In the Subaru, we needed to use a pool noodle and the seat took up way more room front to back, almost all of the front passenger leg room. This is a non-issue if you're using this seat for any baby that can hold their head up! Seatbelt installation may be hard for people with bigger hands, but it's still easy! While we received this product to test as part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel, we will definitely be purchasing another one once our little guy grows out of his MicoMax 30
