Broken now

I am so upset because this rice cooker did not last a year. I bought it last February, 2024 and today January 6,2025 it stopped working So sad. Do not buy. I will give it zero stars.

Better than expected

I really like this rice cooker because I can just put the water/stock and rice in and leave it. I like that it comes with a rice strainer which I rinse the rice before I put it in the cooker. The only thing I would like mention is that when I put chicken/turkey stock in as opposed to water the bottom of the rice is brown not sure if that's because of the stock. Overall, its a great rice cooker and I hope it lasts long.

Wrong description

Wrong description. It is says you can cook up 16 cups but it is a 8 cups rice cooker.

Great Rice Cooker

Definitely a great rice cooker for the price. Super easy to use and cooks great. Only flaw I see is that there is no Off switch. You have to unplug it to turn it off

Amazing!

I do not know why I never got a rice cooker before. This thing is amazing. It makes perfect rice every time. It comes with a rice spoon, a measuring cup and a steam basket as you can also steam vegetables while cooking your rice. Only has one switch so ease of use is out of this world. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Quick and Easy!

Tried my Proctor Silex Rice Cooker for the first time last night. It is very simple .. I made four cups of rice, you add water to the "4 line" on the cooker and then hit the cook button. 20 minutes later I had fluffy delicious rice. Not sticky at all. It was perfect. Definitely recommend. The included spatula is a bit flimsy, mine was cracked when removed from packaging.

Tried & True

Why would I want another small appliance for my kitchen? Because this rice cooker works like a charm! Just load it and forget it without having to second guess about timing! The 16-cup version is the perfect size for the two of us, even if I want to create a crowd-size dish. It's so easy to use that I now see what I've missed over the years.
