I was told that this is for tall cans, but I see it isn't. It does work,but not too easily.

Quickly wore out can opener (75217PS)

Can opener (75217PS) wore out too soon and will not open cans. This was a replacement for a old Proctor Silex opener that had a broken cutting lever. I used the new 7521PS opener mostly to open a few tuna fish and Campbell Soup size cans. The drive gear that rotates the can around slips and won't advance. Drive gear teeth are worn down making the gear is too small in diameter to hold the can lid lip in place. The opener starts to open can and then slips off dropping the can. The defect with gear seems to be from improper heat treatment and hardening. I can scratch the drive gear with a fingernail file. Its too soft. This was a replacement Proctor Silex opener big disappointment.

Can opener

Just spent over 15 minutes trying to get the coiled and tied electrical cord out from its little storage space on the back of the can opener!!! It was a frustrating struggle. The space is too small for fingers to grab the cord then twist it for the plug to fit through the opening.It is now finally plugged and waiting for the first can to open.

Easy to Use

Very easy to use and very quiet. Our Chihuahua used to bark at our last can opener and he does not bark at this one. So, it is Lucky approved !!!
