A lot of mattress protectors are noisy--sounds like crunching paper. While you can hear some of this protector with movement, it's much less distracting.

We bought this replacement because my kid leaked on the bed. I am confident that this mattress pad would protect my mattress should more leaking occur. However, I hope that the leaks will not happen again. ...so much leakage.

Mattress pad definitely repells spills especially if you have an infant or toddler because it has a durable plastic like layer, but it just makes too much noise when willing around in bed. Overall, I would recommend to parents with potty training toddler(s) and infant(s).

For me it has been one of the best I've tried, since the others did not completely cover the mattress and it always had to be fixed. I recommend it and I will be buying for another for my girl's bed.
