Made it work

This is a mixed review because the package arrived damaged. I could have reordered and exchanged, but I was afraid the replacement would not arrive in time. Once opened, the package for the train was intact but the three wing nuts were loose in the bottom of the box and one was broken. When put together, the locomotive top did not fit well and my husband attached it with extra straps. Once put together, it did work well and the display was beautiful. All lights functioned and we received compliments. But, if I did not have a creative husband and daughter, I would not have been able to make it work.

Cute from afar

I got the light up train decoration to add as outdoor christmas decoration for the kids, but am disappointed by the quality of it. I should have gotten the slightly more expensive one from lowes. The quality would have been much better. Upon opening the box, there are some cloth walls to the train that aren’t fully glued on the frame and are already falling off. Looking at the side of the box, the face on the train is glued on properly. I can see a line of dried glue about an inch above where the train face details are, showing that the fabric and glue don’t line up. I’m hoping from afar it doesn’t look as noticible. Also, the directions are horrible. They alike to “set up the train like the picture” and proceed to show a very lightly drawn, and confusing picture with no details. I basically had to figure out how to put it together myself. Lastly, half the glitter will fall off upon set-up. So if you proceed with purchase, set it up outside if you don’t want the vacuum mess.
