Don’t waste your money

The pergola is cheaply made. The shade overhead collects water every time it rains. There are fasteners on the poles to make it tighter, but they are so cheap that literally anytime the wind blows, the fasteners slide up the poles and thus loosen the shade. I ended up using my own zip ties to try and keep it tightened but even with that the rainwater collects often. I regret this purchase.
