Fantastic luggage. This is a really huge piece

This is a fantastic bag as far as quality and strength goes. It’s classy and has all the characteristics I love about my carry-on of the same luggage family. That’s why I bought it. However, be aware that this suitcase doesn’t necessarily fit in rideshare and it’s pretty hard without going over 50 pounds! I went ahead and ordered the medium one. Between the struggle of fitting it in the car, and it being way too heavy to handle with a bad shoulder, I’m afraid I’m gonna have to return it. I’m going for the middle and the carry-on sizes instead! These are great bags

Best luggage

Ricardo makes the best quality. This is similar to the I had one for 10 years where the handle broke cause it accidently fell hard on ground from back of van. Otherwise it would have lasted at least another 10 or more years.

Beautiful--but check for airline sizing compliance

This well-made suitcase is beautiful inside and out with some very thoughtful features. If you only fly domestic airlines this will be perfect. However, if you intend to fly international this may not fit in upper bin as a carry on (some planes) and would need to be checked ($$$$). Shop accordingly.

So Close to 5 stars, but not quite.

This is my second Ricardo carry-on. All in all a great value! Sadly, the compartment at the top is poorly designed and made so the zipper sticks. I've tried countless times and has NEVER opened complete in one try. I don't want to use it out of concern it might not open. With my first Ricardo, this top pocket was so handy. I would put my house keys in it before going through TSA and never have to touch it again until I was back home.

Handsome looking carry on, but….

Sadly it was impossible to get help shopping in the store with no one in the area. After considering 2 we choose the Ricardo. Loved the color, had ample storage compartments. When home and attempting to register it was not easy to get that done bc none of the bar scanning or addresses worked. However we did get it done. We could not understand the TSA lock. So I hope the actual carryon functions better than any of the above.
