Part of the ROCKY public service line, this boot helps you perform at your best by giving you the features you need in boots. These Rocky Alpha Force boots are made with the Rocky Waterproof system. This system lets air flow in, but keeps water out. Your feet stay dry. Guaranteed. Your feet also stay warm. These black leather boots have 400 grams of 3M Thinsulate Ultra Insulation. With dry and warm feet, you won't be distracted from the job at hand. To further assist with your duties, you need boots that can keep up with you. The Alpha Force has a special oil-resistant and slip-resistant RigiTrac Shaped EVA/rubber outsole. These soles really grip the terrain to help you maintain your footing. If you're on your feet for much of the day, you also want your boots to be comfortable. You want the Rocky Air-Port footbed. This footbed is a high-performance, cushioning and comfortable footbed that circulates air with every step.

So so quality

This is my 2nd pair, the first pair lasted about 3 years, not too bad, because they are insulated i don't wear them from May to September. These boots run a little on the small side, i wear a 9&1/2, but with these Rocky Alpha Force i have to wear a 10, and they're snug but fit. I've had the new boots about 3 months and the right boot already leaks a bit, not alot, but it's annoying, and i'm not walking in puddles. The side zippers are cheaper- my left boot won't zip all the way up, and the right boot won't zip all the way down, if i spend about 3 minutes per boot zipping 2 teath at a time using my other hand getting material out of the way, the zippers will work. The laces... are cheaper, the old boots would just zip on and off and stayed tied, these i need to re-tie twice a week. It's still a decent boot, the insole is padded and comfortable, and i would still recommend it, just know that the quality isn't what it used to be

Great boots!

The boots take a little time to break in.They are comfortable and warm as I wear them out to work in my shop. The reason only 4stars is I love the side zippers on them but one boot it gets hung up sometimes. It’s not enough to send them back just a pain if I get in a hurry when I take them off. I would buy another set in a heart beat. I love the side zippers for the ease of putting them on, and it is my second set of their side zippered boots. The first set worked perfectly. Thanks Rocky!! The best boots ever as I have had 4sets in over 30 years!!

Replacement for pair lost in a move

Precisely as described, fit great and grips great on ice and snow. Pretty much no break in, warm and repels water quite well. And they're a lot less expensive than my old favorites that cost over five times the price now. And an added bonus, they're not polish hungry out of the box like some boots I've had are, well treated leather. Now, if only they could fly...

Tough enough

I have worn Rocky boots, alpha force, side zip, for 12 years. The main things I like about them is comfort and waterproof. They really protect your feet. I have walked through puddles up to my ankles and when I take my shoes off at the end of the day, my socks and feet are dry.
