Rocky: 6" Rocky Waterproof Composite Toe Work Boot R6004One of the key features of Rocky stock # R6004 is its non-metallic composite toe cap. The combination of this toe cap along with the other features of R6004 allows this style to meet the highest ASTM F2413 Protective Toe footwear standards for Impact and Compression resistance. The unique combination of this toe cap's protective properties along with it being of a non-metallic material, make it ideal for areas requiring protective toe safety shoes that may have to pass through metal detectors during work. It should be noted that we have made R6004 with totally non-metallic components to aid in this regard. This is well suited for various transportation and prison oriented work areas. An additional feature of the R6004 Work Boot is its Rocky Waterproof construction. It combines a waterproof inner layer with the upper providing a barrier that helps keep water out and feet dry.

comfy boot but not for hot climates

my issue was the sole fell apart within 12 months of wearing then completely disintegrated . Found the bottom being glued is not strong enough for hot environments.

Great Fitting

I bought these for work outside in Northern New Hampshire Weather. I needed composite toe so my toes wouldn't freeze like in steel toe boots. Walked in them for a day and couldn't beleive they were broken in and fit like a comfortable old shoe. They have a fantastic gripping deep sole and are very warm in the cold weather. I couldn't have picked a better boot for my work. I will buy one or two pair every year from now on.

comfort...comfort... comfort

I had Iron Age safety shoes and sore feet every day. I bought these and 12 hours a day on my feet is a cinch, and no sore feet. You want comfort.... these are the ones.

Reliable and Comforable Boots

comfort sans waterproof

Love this model, been wearing it for years. Super comfortable.Only issues I've had with them being they aren't waterproof and when they get wet it takes days for them to completely dry.other than that its a great buy.

light weight

This is my fifth pair and enjoyed every one of them had no major problems. My jobs consists of lots of walking and long periods of standing. Great in both warm weather and rain.
