Seems to be going down hill !

I've been buying rocking boots for 30 years. Started with corn stalkers,went to bear claws as soon as they come out. The last couple pairs it seem the quality isn't there especially for what you pay for them. I'm staring my third season with them this year weather they hold together will be the deciding factor to find another boot I only where them for deer season couple months a year so we will see.

Not built well since manufacturing moved over seas

About 8 months in, the right sole came off. The heel came loose. By the time that I walked back to the truck, it was gone, leaving me with a very slick sole to walk with.

Terrible soles fall apart

I quit buying the rock bear claw because of the corn stalkers and any other rock boot with the same style of rubber soles I got some that look like brand new boots the the sole just crumbled apart on the last pair of corn stalkers were only worn from my house our to dear stands for a couple of years and the last time I wore them the sole were completely gone by the time I made it 300 to 400 yards to the stand. Chunks just crumbled off with ever step.

20 years later.

I bought a pair of these exact boots 20 years ago, I still have them being that I only wear them for hunting or snowmobiling. broke them out this hunting season with bitter cold and snow opening day, with a pair of relatively thin socks on, track probably 6+ miles, through mud water creeks etc. etc. I lasted all day, feet never got cold, fatigued, or uncomfortable, these boots are probably the best money I ever spent 20 years ago. And they’re still holding up My good friend couldn’t believe it. Wondering if they were still made because he wants a pair, that’s why I’m here and now he will probably be ordering.
