Additionally, a full-grain leather trims the Mossy Oak camouflage nylon, a material that reinforces the Guaranteed ROCKY Waterproof construction. So your feet will stay dry in any condition. With each step, the ProLight BioMech outsole provides traction on rugged terrain. It's made of a PU/Rubber outsole, which is an added layer of defense against soggy feet. Yikes!

Blowing up someone’s email for a review after they’ve made TWO dissatisfied returns is a bold move. I was going to let it go, but since I continue to receive review requests, here we go! Firstly, there is no consistency to this product. They are clearly made overseas where the fitment guide/standard is out of whack. Size 9.5 were too small and 10 were too big (same sock and same foot). The glue/stitch work is sloppy and overall craftsmanship is subpar. Do yourself a favor and buy the more expensive ones you are looking at. Not these. Buy once cry once!

ProLight Snake Boot!

After hearing great things about these boots i decided to check them out.Rocky offered me a great discount on these boots too. I have zero complaints so far, been in the mud, creeks, and ridges. They are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. They are LIGHT!

Comfy but underperform.

Never were waterproof. Won't use the zipper because I can already see frays around the seam. Quite comfy and light. I am hoping the snake resistant nature has been manufactured better that the waterproofing. Rocky is not kidding when they warranty only 6 months on the waterproofing. They have somehow figured out how to make waterproofing fails at exactly 6 months one day. I'd say these boots were mildly waterproof. I didnt wear them much as I don't do too much activity during snake season at snake elevations. They still losy their mild waterproofing with little use. Socks are more waterproof.

Stiffness is perfect

These boots r amazing,comfy and true to size,they r stiff enough for me to use them as an afo and cheaper than an afo. Anyone who has floppy foot understands what I'm saying.

Sanke protection a priority.

I live in Australia and snakes are far more likely in our summer months (except the tropical north where they are 365 days a year). I have added confidence with these boots in snake country with most snakes here having a fang length of about 3/8". The coastal taipan has the longest length fangs at about 5/8". Fortunately, I have not yet been bitten. As well a trail walking I ride bush tracks on a motorcycle and although the boots are not designed for this (I use a gear shifter pad) snakes can strike at riders. I have not had wet feet as yet but I don't go through anything other than ankle deep water. Quite honestly I couldn't care less if my feet get saturated. I bought them purely for snake protection and I am confident they will do this. I wear US size 12 and they are perfect. An excellent comfortable boot with very little breaking in needed. I find laces are easier to replace than zips so I am happy with this model.
