An key feature of the R6003 Work Boot is its Rocky Waterproof construction. It combines a waterproof inner layer with the upper providing a barrier that helps keep water out and feet dry. A key comfort feature of the R6003 is its contoured removable polyurethane cushion insole providing direct underfoot cushion comfort. The polyurethane material used in its insole is known for its cushioning while not bottoming out features. Some open celled foams feel very comfortable to the initial touch, but will tend to break down faster than a product made with polyurethane. Plus, it is extra thick in the heel contact area. This provides additional underfoot comfort to the wearer. In addition to meeting the highest ASTM F2413 Impact and Compression standards, Rocky stock # R6003 also complies with its Electrical Hazard standards.

Great soles

Purchased 3 weeks ago, nice grip on soles, great leather, great lace eyelets, a little higher upon ankles than expected- maybe should have got 12 I stead of 13 - but wear think socks and they are fine- fits great- good ankle support though- have had a lot of compliments on these boots- thank you

Tight Fit

Materials seem to be very tough, but time will tel

Not the most comfortable Rocky boot I've owned. The sole ;ining is not thick enough for my feet not to feel the bumps and stitches under the liner, and the tongue is too stiff. The tongue does not fold easily down into the sides of the boots, making it uncomfortable tightening the strings. I've only worn the boots several times, and I don't know if it will be the boots or my feet to break in. The materials seem very strong and durable, if my feet last long enough to make them comfortable.

Tried breaking them in but they broke my feet.

Made in Communist China. Right boot fit worse than left boot which is odd. Heal shim made of plastic kept digging into my Right foot and caused blister and then raw flesh digging into heal with every step. Squished toes on right foot and top of (R&L) boots dug into legs with every step. Left boot started squeaking with every step.

Rugged

Would have been 5 stars,but little to tight so I suggest buy a half size bigger! Great working boots & great price also so far the boots have held up to the riguors abuse of my job.
