  • They fit well with wrangler jeans.
  • I've been trying to find the same pair for a while and then I saw Met Guard on the side, finally I found them.
  • Still going strong, they haven't failed me once. I'd like to get another pair to use for when I'm not working.

Comfortable and durable

Bought these over 6 months ago. I wear them from when I get up, to when I go to bed. They are very comfortable and my orthotic insoles have plenty of room after I took the rocky insoles out. Will buy again, very durable. (Welding/fabricating)

Good but not perfect

The boots are good and comfortable. I work in the construction industry. Steel fabrication and excavation. So the boots are subject to all weather conditions and lots of sharp edges. My pair lasted about a year and a half. The reason for not 5 stars is that the waterproofing after some wear is good but not perfect, if you're standing in a puddle you'll get wet and the build quality of the liner could be better. I just bought another pair because the liner of the right boot separated from the inside of the boot. I cut both liners out to see how they are constructed. The metgaurd is thick rubber. Comfortable. The toe is woven fiberglass set in epoxy. However the material attaching the liner to the sole is some kind of synthetic paper and was not a strong material. Over all they are very nice boots and are the most comfortable, user friendly pair of work boots that I have had. The leather held up well but could be a bit thicker. The soles held up fairly well. One reason I bought these boots was the simple construction that leads to durability. If the liner had not worn out I'd still be using them daily. Anyway I took the liner out and will still use the leather shells around the house. However the composite toe is part of the liner so they are no longer protective footwear. I hope someone from Rocky reads these reviews and offers an even better boot in the future.

Versatile boot

I love the plain and simple western design! Nothing crazy like other brands that have bright colors such as yellow/ orange on the bottom of the boots. I wear them pretty much everywhere. They're comfortable and have alot of good features for the price. I highly recommend this composite work boot to anyone working in harsh weather conditions. It'll get the job done 👍

Versatile, durable,, long lasting

I bought a pair of these last year, they have served me well and still do to this day. Best boots I've ever owned. Great for welding, I never have welding spatter burning my socks. When I'm working in the cornfields my feet are dry and my jeans are tucked in so I don't get mud on my jeans. They are versatile, I wear them every day everywhere I go, to work, shopping, the bank, for walk, I even where them with shorts.
