The good and the bad.

I've been using Roku stick for about a year now and one thing it does is very annoying is after a couple hours it just cut you off out of the program. The good is many free apps and programs

Tv won’t connect to wifi

I bought a roku tv less than 2 months ago and even though the connection says excellent the tv won’t connect. I have to unplug the tv for it to connect. I’ll never buy this brand again

Waste of money for the hassle

I bought this for ease of use and it sucks. Its just blinking and Prime video is no longer available and today it just stopped working.

remote WAY TOO TOUCHY!

Slightest unintended touch or bump of the remote control and it switches apps, goes to home or powers off. I have to locate and isolate the remote even if I am using a different input such as over the air antenna with its own remote. If someone left the Roku stick remote is out of view next to a pillow on the couch and I shift position or get up and even nudge that cushion ROKU shanghais my TV and switches to ROKU and I miss part of the show I am watching. Besides THAT overly touchy remote control design flaw I am extremely happy with the great variety and selection of content. It was simple to set up. It was a bargain price. Easily everything it was advertised and more 1 I gave 2 stars because the otherwise 5 star rating it deserves is greatly offset by nearly weekly tormenting me to nearly stomp the remote into a thousand pieces.

Overheats and has to be unplugged!

After having my Roku for a few years I had to purchase a new Samsung tv series 7. Now my Roku overheats every day and has to be unplugged for hours and then you have no tv! I guess I have to buy a new Roku!’

As a reminder, you may want to try finding a cooler location for your Roku player. For example, avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight, or inside a cabinet (or other enclosed space). Similarly, avoid placing the unit on top of other electronic devices such as cable boxes, routers, or audio/video receivers, as these also tend to emit heat. I need help
