I bought this can opener after nearly slicing my thumb off after lifting a lid from a can using a regular can opener. This Rosle is for safety's sake. I do not know how many times I have cut my self on can lids. The regular can openers leave a dangerous lid that will cut any thing. I had a battery operated smooth touch can opener but it did not last long. I think this will probably last a lot longer. It is certainly a lot safer and leaver the can and lid with a smooth edge.

Love this can opener! So easy to use and safe from sharp edges.

I am not impressed. They work fine, but honestly not worth the money. More complicated to use than competing brands.

I have to say, for the price, I was a little skeptical at first, however, the quality and how it operates, it is really worth it!

No messy lid dropping into the can. No sharp edges and nothing gets on the blades of the opener! Some reviews said it didn't cut the lid off. At first it did seam like it wasn't cut, but I pulled up the edge of the lid and wallah off it came! It doesn't cut into the top of the can. It cuts around the top without any mess and a smooth to the touch edge.

Unfortunately, my experience with this item was the total opposite of the rave reviews. This can opener was very difficult to get to cut the lid and would only cut a small section before coming off. There were tiny metal shards all over the lid and could do great harm if consumed with the food. I returned the can opener with disappointment as I needed a good one and do own some other Rosie gadgets.
