Out with the old, in with the new
I leave my iron and ironing board up 24/7 in my sewing room. I had my previous Rowena about 12+ years. This new one heats up quickly when I need to do a little pressing on clothes or on a seam of a new garment. I do like the cork handle and hope it stands up to my expectations of comfort for years to come. I love coming into my sewing room and seeing how this new one shines and sparkles.

started leaking water from the iron
i got this on 09/02/2025. was very happy till it started blowing water instead of steam. when i reach out to customer care they are not replacing the it with new one and asking for 35% restocking fee. i will not recommend this.

Serious Safety Issue with Steam Trigger
I’ve been a loyal Rowenta fan for 30 years. When their products work, there’s nothing like them. This is my fourth Rowenta (third steam station), and I love that it’s refillable while in use. The 400 steam holes also make a big difference from older models. However, this unit has a serious safety issue. The steam trigger seems to have a mind of its own—sometimes it won’t release steam at all, and other times it activates on its own. Several times, I’ve had the iron lifted while adjusting fabric, only for the steam to suddenly blast out with no way to stop it. I’ve burned myself more than once and can no longer use this unit safely. I am concerned that the quality is starting to go downhill with Rowenta products.

Defective out of the box
Unfortunately my iron was DOA. After turning it on the first time, I was met with a blinking red water light and the power immediately switched off. The sole plate never got warm either. Funny thing is I bought this iron to replace my 3 year old pro steam model since the boiler stopped working on that model ( heat works, but no steam). I'll be returning this new model and trying another company.
