Great for large shoulders, but not really slim fit

TL;DR 1/2 star off from slightly tight upper back 1/2 star off for shoulder hole cut that pulls a lot on sleeves 1 star off for claiming to be a slim fit, yet having 46" of fabric at waist. 3 stars for actually fitting the rest of me. I bought a 16.5" 36/37. I have an athletic build, not a skinny frame. I ended up buying this shirt because it was one of the few slimmer shirts that had large enough shoulders. However, the shoulders/ Shoulder holes are cut funny. Trying to be a slim fit, the holes are cut smaller and higher. But this doesn't really fit with the rest of the slightly more athletically sized shirt, so the back is tight, and the shoulders get really tight when reaching forward which pulls on the sleeves. I think the arm holes need to be slightly bigger, and moved slightly forward on the shirt. My biggest gripe about this shirt is its waist. I am by no means a skinny kid. I have an athletic muscular build, but I need to buy slim fits so that I don't get feet of extra fabric around the waist. Even so, this shirt, like most slim fits, still had 46" of fabric at the waist. FORTY-SIX INCHES. I know a good dress shirt shouldn't be skin tight, but if a man with a 40" waist, a medical cut off for health, can fit the torso of this shirt, IT SHOULD NOT CALL ITSELF A SLIM FIT. The rest of the shirt is great. Good material, good construction, nice pattern.
