Not for the wide of ankle

I was so excited to buy these purple sandals, but they are not as comfortable as I had hoped. The ankle straps situation is very strange, like it's made for someone with extremely skinny ankles and legs that go straight up from the feet like a cartoon character's. Needless to say these do not work for my cankles.

Great sandals!

Very comfortable, love that the metal holding the velcro has padding under it so it doesn't directly touch your foot.

Not as comfortable as Rykas normally are for me. The straps don't don't tighten enough on the ankle to feel secure. To comfortably fit my ankle there is only a tiny bit of Velcro left holding the strap secure, but I don't feel like I can go down a size due to toe space.
