For use between rooms, a walk-through gate makes it easy to get around the house, with no need to reinstall it each time you pass by. All pressure mounted gates need to be occasionally tightened before they become too loose. This safety gate makes knowing when to do this simple. When the SecureTech® indicator turns red, it's time to re-adjust the pressure. The gate is 28 inches high and can be adjusted from 29 to 38 inches for doorways of varying widths throughout your home.

Not worth it

Gap between latch and lock and locking mechanism broke easily.

great gate, just doesn't last long

The gate works great and is easy to install as advertised. The only problem I have with it is that is will not last long cause the housing for the locking mechanism for the gate is completely made of plastic and will break over time. The metal screws that keep housing together screw into plastic and that has failed on mine in just over a year. Saftey 1st should look into making the housing not completely of plastic (at least where the metal screws fasten to).

Latch broke after a week of having it up

Latch won't let me push the button to open the gate, only had it for a short time. Very frustrating

Broken within two weeks

This gate was great for about two weeks. Then the latch system has since been extremely difficult to operate. It takes intense pressure to open. This seems to be a design flaw based on several reviews. I would like this fixed please.

Barely Sturdy

The extenders made it too wide to fit in the door space, and without them the screws were hardly long enough that any pressure at all would pull it right off the wall. With some extra tools I was able to get it sturdy enough, but it wouldn't be safe at all using only what came with it. I think a simpler design would be far more effective. Gave it 2 stars because I got it to be mostly functional.

unsafe

the bottom rail is not noticeable for anyone who walks through. we have 3 gates in our home and only use this in the place that we can remind everyone of the lip and one the children do not go through by themselves.
