Piece of junk after year of use

It just died.. lots of smoke came out of base of the kettle.

I love the product, but the seller is not responsive if you ever ask for refund within the one-month period. Finally, Macy's manually did the refund for me. In terms of quality, if you are a heavy tea drinker like me then this won't last enough to meet your expectation. The kettle is starting to rust.

After just two months, it stopped working and displayed a "no water" message. I attempted to reset it by unplugging and plugging it back in without success. Despite sending several emails to their customer service, I received no response. Poor quality product and extremely disappointing customer service.
