Great! Shoutout Darlene

Love the boots and have been wanting them for a while but what really blew me away was the truly wonderful employee Darlene in the NYC Macys store that helped me. She was patient with me and the many shoppers there and beyond kind and even helped me get the size that I needed delivered.

Awesome boot!

Wow, love these boots! Nice lug sole without being too clunky. Super comfortable right out of the box and easy to get on & off for a Chelsea boot. Nice enough to wear with a skirt. And they are waterproof!

Very cute, but very stiff...

Ordered online & didn't realize there was gold detailing on the back of the boot, but it's small enough to look over. They are heavy & stiff, but I've been wearing them in, so hopefully it continues to get better. Had I tried on in store, I probably would have passed. They are so stiff that it's actually difficult to crouch down (if I need to grab something from a bottom shelf etc). This is no fault of Sam E., however I was disappointed that I was not informed that these were a "floor model" until I received them. There was a bright green Macys sticker on the box saying so, which surprised me.

Odd sizing

Although these are attractive as far as color, stitching, and overall style, they have a very odd fit. I usually run between an 8.5 and 9. Somehow they were tight but loose at the same time. They were very uncomfortable to walk in. Ended up returning them.

Why is my foot wet?

I get so many compliments on these boots. They are stylish and go with so many things. Not comfortable in the beginning but once they are broke in they are quite comfortable. I would buy these boots again except for the longevity of the sole. Today I wondered why my foot felt wet. I looked at them and found a huge crack in the sole. Super disappointed because I paid a lot for these boots for less than a year’s occasional wear.

Great Boots

Perfect Fall/Winter shoes. Wore them on my trip to Japan and they were great for in the cities, as well as on trails in the woods. Stylish, practical and comfortable.
